Tractor
John Deere LA155
Hi Everyone,
I Have a John Deere LA155 Lawn Tractor that the last 2 times I used it, the throttle control lever backs
off during operation. Doesn't matter if you are going fast or slow, on level or uneven ground etc. I thought
maybe just a vibration issue but apparently not. Any ideas?

Thanks In Advance

Does it have dual levers, or is a single lever?

Beenthere,
Thanks for responding, just single lever.

I'd try to get at it and see if there is a screw or bolt that you can snug up to add some friction.
Nothing is clear when looking at the part in jdparts.com, other than showing the two options... dual lever and single lever.
Holler back if you don't find anything to tighten under there.

Had some time to check it out . All bolts and screws tight but I be dang if he didn't find the cable itself
had somehow popped out of some of the guide clips for lack of a better term at the moment. left slack in cable
and I guess it was pulling or vibrating down from that slack. Seems weird to me but apparently worked. Something for
someone else to look for if it happens to them. Thanks for your help.
