The X350 specs lists a K46 hydro but the lowe's site that sells the lower class D140 tractors doesn't list the tranny number. Does anyone know which transmission is in the D140 or could link a spec sheet that gives that information?

thanks

The D140 has the Tuff Torq T40 transmission. World of difference between the X series and the D series.

The K46 has about 30% more torque than the T40 . The X350- is head and shoulders better than D140, better frame, tires, mower deck, tranny , engine, seat, tighter turning radius and easier steering

I would suggest looking at the x380 as a good starting point. It comes with the k58 transmission, way better than the k46 which has had a lot of failures. The x380 should last you 20 years with good care and maintenance.

The D160/170 have the same transmission as the X300. The frame is lighter, lower grade tires, old-style Twin-Touch and the mower decks are thinner
