In the process of installing a 12 volt outlet I've come across some issues I need help with, after getting some very good suggestions on how to hook up a high capacity outlet, I've decided to scale it back quite a bit, was going to go with a 30 amp circuit wired to the battery with a breaker etc, but since I could not find a rated outlet at any of the auto supply stores and have realized I really don't need that kind of power except for maybe the inverter I was thinking about, the stobe warning light only draws half an amp and the spot light is only 33 watts (I think that's around 2.5 amps), cell phone charger is very little.
I now just want to do it as simple as possible, I found this nifty little piggy back fuse thing that lets you get an extra circuit out of an existing one with out overloading the existing one. The problem is that I don't want to mess with any important circuits like the main or the hydrostatics even though this thing is supposed to be safe to add an extra 10 amp draw, the non essential circuits (tail lights & work lights) are not hot even on the line side unless they are switched on. the only space on the panel that has 12 volts on the line side when key is off is #2 and #4, the unused #2 space (it's a 30 amper) says trailer option, which I would like to find out more about, is there a plug in the harness in the back somewhere that I could use to power my outlet? The #4 space says "never used" and has only one terminal in the line socket, nothing in the load socket, would that be ok to use with my piggy back thing? The #12 says do not use or tranny will be disabled, all the other spaces have no terminals in them.
I did find a capped plug like socket on the back of the harness which does have a ground, but could not get power to it when I put a fuse in the trailer option space.
Any help will be appreciated, does anyone know how to get a full wire diagram for the 4310.
Thanks John,
Here are some pics to help.

This is the socket I found on the back, anyone know what's it's for?
This is the thing that was plugged into the socket
