20 acres and workin' on buying another 43 acres that borders our place. Two horses, 14 chickens, a couple of pigs, 2 bee hives, and an occasional grizzly bear....

just happen to come across this thread and decided put my 2 cents in. I have seven acres where My home is and an other 45 acres of pasture (30 miles away) with 1 acre stocked pond, 5 pecan trees and 23 head herdford cattle. I tend to all of it with a 50 hp kubota, FEL, 7 ft bush hog, 6 ft finish mower, 3 pt post hole digger, 55 gal PTO driven sprayer, 6ft grader box. 10ft wheeled disk harrow. Plan to move premenately to the 45 acres when I retire in four years.

We have about 400 acres, about 120 of it hay fields from which we take off about 15,000 bales, 25 acres of corn for silage, the rest pasture and woodland mix.
Our biggest tractor is a JD 6405 4WD, also a JD 2640 2WD with 720 bucket loader and a JD 920 for light work. around 90 head of dairy holstein cows

43 acres,33 of it in trees, the rest in grass. 5105 JD and 296 Bushhog keeps the grass cut.

50 acres, 4 in grass / pasture, 46 of hardwoods (red maple, ash, nut trees). We are near the Iriquois National Wildlife Refuge, so our soil is similar. Interesting to watch a 90' maple tree push itself out of the ground via hydraulic action / freeze / thaw cycles (wet ground, freezes, pushing trees upward). Lots of firewood though...

I have 31 acres and use a JD 3320 w/300CX loader, MX5 rotary cutter, 5 ft box blade, 6 ft back blade and a 5 ft snow blower.
