I also have a 650 MFWD and if it was maintained and not abused will last a long time. Basically a no frills gear drive tractor that will do the job. 2 cyl Yanmar diesel with 8 forward and 2 reverse. Some parts are getting hard to find so hopefully your dealer will work for you. If you get it get all the books. About 150.00 but well worth it. Some stuff interchanges with the Yanmars so dont forget about those guys if you need them. 14.5 PTO HP. I run a 5 foot rear finish mower and the 59" front snowblower with no problems. Zahm & Matson here in Western NY has been good to deal with on parts. Good luck and hope this helps.

You can also go to tractordata.com and look for the JD 650. There are some spec's posted there on it. I would post the link here but not sure if it's ok to do that on this forum.

I own a JD 650 that came with my place. At one time it had a 72" front snowblower and mid mount mower but over the years and different owners alot of the attachment hardware for the implements is missing. So my neighbor and I now use it primarily for cutting pastures. What would you like to know?
