70a loader question
I have a 1995 JD855 with a 70a loader.
When I lower the loader I can hear a hiss/noise on one side?
The other side is quiet.
The noise is similar to water flowing past a valve as you close the valve?
Any ideas what might cause this noise?
Is it a seal?
Is there air in the line?
No real leaks on this baby.
I searched but didn't find anything.

Re: 70a loader question
It's a normal sound. There is a restrictor on the "lower" side so the loader falls at a controlled rate, you are hearing the fluid being forced through that restrictor.
