i finally got around to installing the trac vac i had on my old kubota BX.It was pretty easy retro fit i had to buy a new boot to fit the mower deck and bought a new half of pto so it would fit my distance on new tractor.

Is was a lot easier than i thought only took about an hour once i had the materials.Heres a couple pics of the setup

Very Nice! I have about the same set up on my JD2210. Is the Trac-Vac for the 540 speed PTO or the Higher one. Trac-Vac makes a model 856 that supposed to run on a Kubota and the PTO speed is 850 RPM's. This is the unit I have on mine and while it is running a little slow on my 2210 it seems to pulling enough to vacuum anything that comes along. Would like to boost the speed of my blower a little if I could figure out a way.

That's mowing in comfort! Nice setup. If you can fab a hose hanger to hold the vacuum hose off the ground and away from the rear tire I think the vacuum hose would last a lot longer.

Super-duper setup!

I know this is an old thread, but I came across it while searching...

That is one nice setup! I was wondering if anyone else used a TracVac with a similar sized tractor?

I had one on my 770 but the 3pt mounting was Mickey mouse. I had to take the lift links off, use the trac vac ones and fudge up the mower mounts. I had it for about 15 years and it was 1/2 worn out so I sold it and bought the one that runs off a 8 hp motor. Pop a pin and disconnect the hose and the unit is off. It is easier to rake into the trac vac around the bushed as you don't need to bypass the safety switch on the pto.you don't even need it hooked to the tractor. Trac Vac is a great machine. I bet I've dumped over 100 full loads over the years.

I know this is old, but,

You could change out the pulleys and belts to increase rpm. Either increase the pulley size on the driven pulley, or reduce the impeller pulley.

Does you tractor have two PTO speeds?
