Default Hp Cut Off Point

Does anyone know what the HP cut off point is for the 3 cylinder in the JD tractors?
I guess I'm wondering at what HP do they go to a 4 cylinder engine?

I'm talking diesels here.

JD uses a yanmar 4 cyl in the 4005 (990) at 41.5hp

the 4120 is the first JD 4cyl engine, at 43hp.

the 3720 has a 3cyl, 44hp yanmar.

so I would say that around 40 hp they
go to 4 cyl, with the exception of the 3720.

Maybe thats now but I have a "95" JD5400 3cyl turbo that is 62hp PTO and over 70HP engine. But its a JD engine not Yanmar. JD actually made tractors under 100HP then.
