John Deere 3020 oil leak
I have an oil film on both sides of the block. I thought my vavle cover gasket was leaking, but looking closer at it the oil on the plug side is just from the bottom of the head down. Would a head gasket leak oil and have to other problems? Tractor runs fine.

Yes it is possible to leak oil from the head gasket without any other problems. In fact, it is a pretty common problem on that style engine. Usually never see coolant or compression leaks.
