So I spent the day yesterday getting the ol 3520 Cab ready for snow season...dunno if its just me but the 3pt doesn't seem to raise as far as it used to Travel specs are as such (3520 Cab/Large R4's)
-Lower Position: 8.5 off the ground to Center of lift link hole
-Upper Position: 25 off the ground to center of lift link hole
= Total travel of 16.5

How does that compare to what you guys have? Between the seat of the pants feeling of the blower not being as high off the ground as it could/should be and the fact that the lever just seems funnyI know these are highly descriptive & specific terms, :D.but it just feels like something is amiss..

I have the service manual on HOW to adjust it?ut I dunno if there is even anything TO adjust

According to the technical manual the lift arms should rise 50 degrees above horizontal and fall 20 degrees below. According to the backhoe technical manual, for the 3x20 series the center of the pin in the lift arm should be 450mm (17.7 inches) plus or minus 3mm above the PTO shield (good luck on getting an accurate measurement).

You can adjust the height by adjusting the lift arm position feedback rod. Lengthen to increase lift height, do not go too far or it will go into relief.

Where'd you find that in the manual? I looked in my TM before posting but could not find anything...
Looks like I'll have to go buy a fancy angle finder level thingie tomorrow...

Just shooting from the hip, but I think its an issue of cable adjustment acutally... the TM on the rockshaft control lever adjustmen procedure states that the lever (Cab Model) shouldnt touch either end of the plastic slot (Lower or raised position) but to even get it to the 25" number I need to repetededly jiggle & hold the lever all the way back on the "raised" end....

Might swing by my dealer and see whats up....

The angle info came from page 818 of my PDF version. It is under the rockshaft lift arm removal and installation section.

Cocre, you were exactly right....Had approx 12" of snow to play with tonight so while the tractor was warming up I tinkered with that adjustement...got it to go all the way up to 29.5"....which is pretty much exactly what I got for specs at the dealer (measured a lot model)...Hard to tell how low it goes now because the blower is mounted and the way I have it set now will be fine till spring...

Wow, 4.5" increase in lift! Just make certain that you don't put it into relief when it is all the way up, you can tell by the pump noise.
