John Deere 820 3 cylinder
I'd like to see pics of other John Deere 820 3 cylinder tractors.
Here are a few I have found online.

Finally got the pics off of my camera. Here is my 820. Since this was taken I have added a new seat and bumper.

I don't have any pictures handy right now, but my dad has one of these. My grandfather bought it brand new in 1970. The tractor is used by my dad around his farm and has only 2400 hours on it. Great little tractor, only complaint is that it lacks power steering. But this is the tractor that started my journey into John Deere fascination. Dad plans to pass the tractor down to me one day and I hope to pass it down to my son too.

Here's my '69. Great tractor... less than 1500 original hours.

1971 John Deere 820 Mannheim 3-cylinder; versatile, dependable, easy to operate. mostly use mine in woodlots for keeping the wood roads and skid trails open and some field/header mowing. this thing can make new roads through the woods, anything it knocks down gets chewed to bits :)

Steve

My Daddy bought this 1971 Model 820 when I was 13. As a kid, I drove it many, many hours around the farm. My Daddy passed away in Nov. 2010 and I got this old tractor. It was still running, but in much need of repair. Here are some pics of my daddy on his tractor and my sister on her '72 model. Also, a pic from the repair shop and what it looks like toward the end of the restoration. Going to name it Scallywag as this is what my Daddy called his four daughters when we were toddlers. One of the below pictures are my two grandkids. Can't wait until they start driving Scallywag!! IMG_2622.jpgIMAG6096.jpgIMAG6094.jpg466921_364502033600751_344584083_o.jpgIMAG7243.jpgIMAG7244.jpg
