OK, after fielding questions and researching different ideas, I stumbled across
a solution to a question that gets asked countless times,
where do I get wheel spacers for my JD Cut (3020-4020)
tractor?

After seeing the Unverferth spacers, along with some other styles,
I came across this kit from Grouser and we just installed them on
a 3120. The kit part # is 808020 (8"X8" hole patter, 2" thick) and
they are part of skid steer track parts when spacers are needed.
They fit the 3020 hub perfectly, we stacked 2 for 4", using loc-tite
on the buried hardware. The spacers come with studs and chamfered
nuts, and the original wheel bolts worked to bolt the first spacer
to the hub.
total cost, $400 plus freight, for a set of 4 2" spacers.

Check out their pdf for more info. They come as a set of 4
since they are for skid steers.

:D

Awesome ...I've been eyeing the S/S Spacers for a while...been looking at measurements, etc..and while It appeared it would work, I didnt want to take a gamble. Thank You Very much for takin the plunge and letting us know about it!

If anybody wants to split a set, PM me...I've got a newborn due any day now so I wont have time to do the shopping & legwork, but I'd pay my share plus S&H....

Just double checking.
This is the '60's model 3020?

You said Cut 3020 and wondered if you are talking the 3x20 series.

Will they work on a 2010 4720?

JD Cut (compact utility tractor) 3120-3720 etc, and 4120-4720

also, any prior models with 8 bolt rims I would imagine..

FYI to anyone interested... I just PM'ed (Temporarily blocked due to reports of company closure) as they are both a Grouser dealer AND a TBN site sponsor with a link to this thread...hopefully they can shed more light (Pricing & Availability) on this.

I've been using SS wheel spacers for a Bobcat (2") on my JD110 TLB for 2 years now - with no problems, whatsoever.

I have less than $300 invested ($267). The wheel size and lug spacing on my 110 appears to be identical to the 4000 series machines and the 110 is probably 3,000lbs heavier.

The Unverferth's were nearly $900!!!

He probably should have wrote 3x20 and 4x20;), but I am sure you knew that:thumbsup:

Just to make sure. I have a JD 3720 cab and was looking at the unverferth 6 inch spacers. They don't offer the 4" like they once did. I have the smaller R4 tires so will these spacers work better (4") than the 6" unverferth spacers? I want to get the machine a little more stable.

thanks
