I am going to be looking at an 88 2355 4x4 w/cab
I'm hoping someone could help with the controls
What is the yellow lever on the left side of the dash? 4x4?
What is the red handle on the right with the push button on top? PTO?
It looks like there is a lever that slides left and right above the fuel gage?
any clue what that's for?
What is the gage left of the fuel gage.
There is some sort of rotating knob in the slot and under the stearing colum?
any clues, I'm wondering light switch?
the interior is pretty beat up and this looks like it is tied into position
so it might have been someplace else.
I figured out the brake pedals on the right
is that the clutch on the left?
I see an ignition switch a red pull knob and maybe a lighter socket right of that? What's the red knob for?
There are 2 white toggle switches on the right of the dash under the tach?
Levers on the right front side of cab.
A joy stick must be for the woods loader
behind that are 3 red levers.
The one on the left, just has a straight for and aft slot. Throttle?
next to that looks like a standard H shifter 1 2 3 4
to the right of that looks like an upside down small h
Looks like a roman numural I and II and R
I'm wondering if that is a Hi Lo for forward and just 1 rev gear?
If it is a shuttle I really don't know what that is or how to use it.
The 3 point controls, I am not really sure about these either.
There are 5 slots
the 1st one looks like it can lock to the rear with dashed lines to the right of the slot.
2nd slot has some kind of indicator in the slot,
looks like a big black rotating knob to the rear, numbers 1-10 to the right.
The 3rd and 4th slots have levers in them.
There are some markings between them but I can't make them out.
The 5th slot has some sort of square block in it.
There might be a smaller knob on the lower left of this whole lever control box.
There is also some sort of red lever just to the right of the PTO shaft on the rear of the tractor. What is that for?
If I get this tractor I plan on getting manuals for it.
but I already own $100 in manuals for a tractor I returned
So I am hoping someone woll take the time to explain these and anyother they may think I have missed.
