    Default 1953 John Deere Model 40

    I put this video up under snow but I figure I'd put it it here for you antique Deere enthusiasts. My buddy's '53 JD 40 clearing snow with a modified landscape rake.

    having never plowed backwards or watched someone do it, it always seemed painfully awkward.

    Actually watching someone do it it doesn't seem so bad.
    Course he's up high enough to be looking as much down as back, so maybe that's why it doesn't seem so bad.
