electro hydralic 3rd scv on pre-2011 4020 series tractor?

Hello,
I would like to know if anyone has installed the new JD electro hydralic 3rd valve with joystick control on a pre 2011 4020 series tractor?

Not that I have seen.

I think the major changes between the years is the wiring harness, so adding the new style valves would be complicated to say the least, and also very pricey.

There are cheaper alternatives to adding remotes...

My dealer looked into this as well for my 3720 tractor. Basically not backwards compatible. I am going to try the wr long kit and try to wire it to the 2011 controls with the thumb operated switch. I think it has been done on here in the past since the 2011 controls are the same as the controls on the JD 110 tlb.

Yea, I have been debating the WR Long 3rd scv kit to operate a 4 in 1 bucket for a while now. I really like the factory joystick handle from John Deere. I also like the 4th and 5th scv option from Deere. But that means I will have to trade my tractor to get the new hydraulics. :confused2:

Piecing together your own system - joystick, switches, valves, etc is an option too, and far more versatile....
