I just bought a JD 2020 and am confused about the Top-Link attachment for the 3-pt. Everything I have read (Owner's manual/TractorData specs/etc...) says the JD 2020 has a Cat 2 3-pt, but my 2020 has a Cat 1 top-link attachment (3/4" pin) on the back of the tractor. The Draft Link ends are 1" pins (cat 2), however. Is this the norm for these machines?

I'm kinda new here so I'm including a pic showing what I'm saying in case I've messed up the description....

Another thread going that gives the sizes from tractor data.
TractorData.com - Three-Point Hitch

The orange paint under the green may indicate this tractor was a state or county Industrial tractor that may also be the reason the top link bracket is Cat I. But the lower should be 1 1/8", not 1" if that is the case.

Looks like you have a good heavy duty tractor to work with.

The factory center link that came with your tractor when it was new had a 1" hole in the end that attached to the implements.
