My question is.......

Will a 47" snowblower bolt onto the attaching hardware for a 7-8-955 series tractors ?

I have an older 855, and know where to get the attaching hardware, and drive shaft. Just need to know if the blower body will mount properly.

Thanks

Don't believe it will, but call your JD dealer and they will tell you for sure. Maybe there is some type of adapter?

Wyobuckaroo (good user name)

If you go to the John Deere Web site and to their Parts Catalog and do a search for model 855 it looks like the 655,755 and 855 CUTs are groupled together. Next, choose Attachments, then 47 inch snowblower, then sectional Index where you'll have to select 655,755 and 855 once again..........wheeewww............ at that point it will show groupings like the Front PTO shaft, Hydraullic Lift Cylinder, Front PTO Attaching Parts and Mounting Bracket and Hardware...any differences between model numbers will be annotated in the "Keylines" or parts listing. Be sure before you print, to select "Illustration + Keylines" for each of those areas (over to the right in print selector window), from there you will be able to see if it's a direct match......

Very simple after you've mastered using the JD parts Catalog, no need to contact the Dealer, they'll do the same thing...............
