I've got a 310C backhoe. I got in it one day (after not running it for about 2 weeks) and it wouldn't rev up real high. I changed the fuel filter and the fuel pump. I bled it at the filter, injector pump, and the injectors. Sometimes it will run real low, sometimes it just knocks off. Is there somewhere else to bleed it? Or other suggestions? Thanks.

Did you blow the fuel lines out all the way back to the tank?

I did it before I bled it. Does the order matter? I'm a rookie. Thanks.

So, you replaced the fuel pump? And it was bad.. Do any of your lines seep fuel - at all? Anywhere.. ?

Did you check the fuel strainer in the bottom of the fuel tank?

I don't see any fuel seeping anywhere. I didn't check the strainer... I assume that is just outside the tank? I didn't see it.

Probably the fuel return line or return line fitting at the inj pump is stopped up from debris from a deteriorating drive ring in inj pump. loosen return line and see if engine will accelerate or if fuel flows out of fitting while engine is running.

Parts key # 14 is the fitting I referred to to check for blockage.
