Trailer build for my 2520

I bought a welder in Jan and this was my 4th build. The first 3, a cart for the welder, a welding table, and a hitch receiver on my ballast box. I started out with a an old boat trailer I bought for $75. I wanted the trailer no wider than my tractor so the original frame was dissected and narrowed. The axle was cut, shortened, and welded back together (I got some help with that weld). It is not a dump and the tailgate is nothing fancy. My fabricating skills are still in their infancy. I am happy with it and am sure it will get a lot of use.

Looks nice. Nice paint, too. I hope you painted the inside of the tubing because it likes to rust from the inside out.

You know I looked at the pictures first and thought, this guys is nuts. There is no way that trailer will haul his tractor. lol

Looks great, I wish I could use an Arc Welder, but I am stuck using "Gas" Torches due to my Pacemaker/Defibrilllator, so I can only weld up to about 1/8" steel.

I want to put a receiver hitch on the bottom of my new ballast box before Ifill it, so I will have to "bolt" it on. But again nice work on your trailer!:thumbsup:
