Re: My modest fleet
Thats a pretty impressive fleet! On a side note, have you been happy with your shelter logic. i assume that you use it to park some of your JD's. I am debating picking one up for a shelter for hay, and implements. We had one about 5 years ago, but we had a small tornado hit when, and it destroyed it. We get a lot of snow in New Hampshire, and I'm sure in Ontario you get about what we get for snow fall. I would imagine you get lake effect snow there. Anyways, just wondering how it has held up for you over the winter, if you have had it that long? Thanks!
Mitch

Re: My modest fleet
Hi Mith that is the biggest shelterlogic I could find I think it is like 24 feet long and 12 high (guessing but somewhere around there) it cost about $850.00 I think. It has been ok but only had it for one year and some of the seams on the end covers have ripped in one area where they rub against the frame and some bolt tips that stick out. I have tried to fix the tears with duct tape. If the front entrance is open and high winds hit well it obviously fills the shelter up and wants to lift it off the ground like a parachute. I always try and zip her shut when it gets really windy. The framing seems very strong and I think most snow will roll or blow off of the top. I was fine this winter but it was a mild winter. I am thinking it is a good buy but if I ever want to replace the end cover mostly the back one I am hoping I can order a new one from shelter logic since there phone number is on tags inside the shelter. I purchased this because it was high enough to park the 3720 cab tractor in and also keeps things looking neater for the neighbour. It does what I need it to well and also allows me to hide some implements in there.. John deere says in there manual the roofs on these cabs will fade and even dry out over time if there over exposed to sun so for any investment like the 3720 you want to protect I would say it is an overall good buy. The tractor sure won't fit in my garage.
Maybe one day we will have that dream shop in the country untill now we get buy
