The drive belt or traction belt broke on my JD LT 155 mower. I have an operator's manual, but there is no diagram or info related to the routing of the drive belt. Plenty of info on the mower belt. I have a new belt and I need a diagram so I put the new one on correctly. Does anyone know where I can find a diagram which shows the drive belt on the pulleys and idlers? I tried google, utube etc without any luck. Thanks

:welcome: to the forum.

I'll see if jdparts.com has that. It is free registration and you can look there too.

Looks like two different ways, depending on serial number for the 42" deck.

Which to you have? Above or below 125001 ??

Here is the timing belt config for the deck below 125000 on the left, and above 125000 on the right.

A parts list exploded view may help with the routing. Otherwise, it's the repair manual you need. The owner's guides do not provide much in the way of service information. The power drive belt is a fair amount of work to change. Though the routing is not too difficult to figure out.

sounds like we need the traction belt info, not the deck, see if this helps
