Default What\'s that 5100 tractor doing?

I recently received the JD 5100 series brochure. It shows a tractor backed up to what appears to be a pond. Some type of PTO driven implement is beating the water into submission. It looks like a big "mixer". Anybody know what it's for and what their doing.

By the looks of the brochure, chicks dig the 5100 series!

And, anybody who owns a 5103, let me know what you think.

You called it. See them pretty often around here as we have several fish farms.

Its either a aerator or a agitator. Is it a freshwater pond or slurry pond (Liquid manure). They have to agitate the slurry ponds to keep them from crusting over.
