Hello from a new member (50 years old JD 3010 !)
Hello to all our tractor experts espcially the John deere gurus ! I`ve just acquired a 1963 JD 3010 and am on a steep learning curve. The posts on the forum are an excellent way to gether great tips.

Welcome toTBN. I'm not trying to scare you but just make you aware. One very important thing to watch for on a 3010/4010 besides checking the engine & hyd oil levels is to be sure that the 4 bolts that hold the rear pto stub shaft to the tractor stay TIGHT. Using pto with loose bolts can cause expensive things to happen.
