JD 4300 coming to the rescue

Well, I purchased a 35' travel trailer to put on a vacation spot. I towed the trailer with my Chevy 2500 70 miles to the site and while pulling it up a logging road I hit a wet spot which bogged down my truck and the trailer. Luckily, I saw this coming and positioned my JD 4300 ahead of my truck and trailer. Hooked up the tractor with chains to the front of my truck and pulled everything out to the site. It's great to have that tractor around when ya need it. Some pics of the site and trailer.

Thanks for sharing the pics. You must have the 4300 pro version? My 4300 will barely pull itself on wet ground.

Pictures of the campsite are nice, but we were hoping to see pictures of the stuck truck, and the rescue!! :laughing:

It was a little hairy for awhile. With the trailer sitting precariously close to a downslope. So I wasn't thinking of getting pics until the crisis was over. Sorry, next time I will make sure I get pics of the follies.

I was able to have the tractor on dry ground with it in 4 wheel and the rears locked. I was surprised how easily it pulled the truck and trailer which weighed 15,000 lbs together.

The truck is a 4x4. But it has highway tires on it, not mudders.

Im doin that tommorow!!! Got a 10,000lb bumper pull trailer, a f350 4x4 with rear locker, a jd 950, and a steep hill. I hope to have the first three things at the top of the last thing when all said and done... Hpefully the tractor wont be involved
