Loader JD 350 C crawler loader 1980

Hello to all, I am new to this site, and I understand that this mostly a tractor site, but perhaps there is someone out there who has knowledge about the transmission on a JD350C. I just bought one and it does not have a reverse powershift. There is a slot in the shift guide to shift F/N/R without clutch.
The gear shift pattern shows Rev and 1-4 gears. I am wondering if the reverse P/S was an option. The owners manual is very unclear.

Yes it was an option. Between myself and my dad we have owned a 40, 420, 440, 1010, and 350 crawler loaders (350 was a 6 way dozer). That is the direct lineage. The shuttle first was available on the 420. It became a hydraulic controlled unit on the 1010. The 2010 and 450 got the high/low/reverse shift. It would seem unusual to buy one without a shuttle, especially a crawler loader not that old.
