what to order for mounting a 47" snowblower from a 445 to a 2320-

I was talking to my local dealer thru email trying to figure out what i need to order. A guy down the road from me is selling a 47" snowblower off a 455 that i would like to mount on my 2320. This blower comes with everything to mount to a 445. Im thinking the front upstop and small driveshaft are all the same... I would just need the front hitch, front support kit, and driveshaft... or would the 445 front hitch fit my 2320?


according to my local dealer i would need to order the following-

Lvb24898 front hitch 788.00

Lvb24900 mid drive shaft 285.00

Lvb24895 front support kit 82.00

Lvb24902 front upstop & imp drive shaft 415.00

Does anyone know if any of the 445 or 455 parts interchange with the 2320???? Do I really need to order all the parts above?? Mainly the Lvb24902 front upstop & imp drive shaft???? would this be the same on a 47" blower for a 445 and 2320?

I'll be watching for responses. I'd like to see a compatibility chart for the 47" and 54" snowblowers to know what models they will fit and the appropriate attachment parts required. I've already got the quick attach front hitch for my 54" blade on my 2210, but I've always wanted to find a snowblower.

I would order it all and take back what you do not need. If they give you a hard time tell them this is what you said I needed and do not need it.

You could browse through Deereparts.com like a parts guy, write down part numbers for both tractors and compare.

The front mounting system is different and the pto shaft on the tractor is a different length. You may be able to get away with out the up-stop and the implement drive shaft. You may want to ask your salesmen mine was a great help when i went from a 425 to a 2210 and reused the old blower.

I like the buy all parts idea. Its really annoying running back and forth to the dealer. Ask me how I know. I know the implement drive shafts from the broom and the blower are different on my 2320 but they interchange fine with the 2305.

thanks for the reply guys but i just passed on that blower and bought a 54" and the quick hitch i needed. easier that way.

Thanks! This is exactly what I was looking for. Now I just need to watch for a good deal on the snowblower.

I bought a used 59" blower and mounted it to my 4110. I used the drive shaft, fabed a mounting plate for the frame. Bought a stub shaft, two bearings, and added a support for the lift cylinder. Bearings were twenty dollars, shaft twelve dollars, and some scrap plate steel off the rack. Works like a charm and clears a huge path.
