I think you hit the nail on the head there. As I mentioned upthread, they don't even have the equipment to test the power steering control valve.
Made the call this morning (they were closed yesterday). The menu choices were only for sales information so I took the first one I could (Scotts equipment sales) and asked the woman for a number to call for my problem. She asked for some specifics on the dealer, the tractor and the events and then gave me a case number. She was very helpful and professional and it seemed as if she had done this many times before.
