John Deere 2240
Hello everyone, I have a John deere 2240 and I was looking around while I was working on it and noticed that there is some kind of sensor in the intake pipe right above the filter box. Now the strange thing to me is that the wire from this sensor goes to the sender pump in the gas tank  I dont have a manual for the tractor but could anybody tell me what it could possibly be.
Thanks

Can you post a pic of the sensor and its location?

"filter box" would that be the air filter? And the "intake pipe", be the air intake?

Are you referring to the air filter restriction sensor(part key 13)????????????

The wire should go to the instrument panel.. I'd think, rather than the fuel tank pump.

The wire does go to the panel, my mistake the harness splits right behind the hydraulic pressure tank where I didnt notice it
