John, what is the price on the 4n1 buckets with hyd solenoid kit. How many sizes do they come in? Can these buckets also be used on the 440 and 70 loaders?

Don't know nothing about pricing...check with local JD dealer... {couple thousand?} but I'm sure some 3rd. party mfrs. would be alot cheaper? I believe Dan has a 3rd. party 4 in 1 bucket on his 4700...

Hi Bill,
Here's the scoop on a "Long" 4n1 bucket I have on my 4700.
This is for a 72" bucket (model UJ2-72) -larger and heavier than you would need, but it will give you an idea of the prices-yours should be less.

Specify your loader type(430, ...mines a 460), and it will be made to fit slick-as-a-whistle.
Solid well-made bucket with an excellent rep., ..lots of discussion about them on this site, numerous happy users!

John's drawing looks like my 4n1 bucket so mine must be a JD implement. I've never known for sure if my 4n1 was a third party or JD implement. All I know for sure is it works real well and I use it all the time. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
I had a nut come off one of the controlers that allows the bucket to open/close two weekends ago. Major bummer until I figured out what was wrong and did a temp fix with duct tape. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif NOT being able to use the 4n1 for a couple of hours was painful. Its so easy to take these things for granted. Then you don't have the use of an implement and it really hurts! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
The 460 FEL including the 4n1 was about $4,600. I don't have a break down on what the 4n1 cost.
