I know that Curtis is for one that sells cabs for JD 4000 series, but after looking on JD home page for Great Britian I noticed that JD offers cabs overseas as an option. From what the pictures show they look nice, also on my JD equipment cd catalog they show all the parts etc right down to the wiring harness. How come JD only sells after market cabs for the 4000 series in the US?
Also, who else besides Cutis manufactures cabs for the 4000 series her in the US?

HillBilly,

Take a look at the category "Buying John Deere", page 3 and pull up the title "4700????". Near the end of the discussion, there are references to cab manufacturers.

Take a look here . Search for "cab" There appear to quite a few manufacturers there. I've been looking for a cab to fit my JD 870. So far Curtis seems to be the only reasonably priced cab ($1000)

To keep you from having to search for it, here's the link to the 4700???? thread that Russ mentions.
