Mowing 2210 Mowing in Reverse and other things

I have a 335 and a 2210. The 2210 mows 50-75% more grass and does it on 1/2 the fuel. It's a little much for 1.5 acres, you should be looking at less than an hour for that much grass. The 2210 is a dream to operate and really not any more difficult than the 335 - my 12 year old son runs both machines with no problem.

Only downside is the ROPS (Trees), but I added a FEMCO folding rops to address that issue, works great!

If you got the money, go for it. You and your dad won't miss the 335.

The 'logic' you speak of is not to Deere's credit, but the reaction of the industry to a suit lost by Cub Cadet, when a child was backed over with a running Cub mower.

It is easy to work around the reverse shutoff switch (RIO) and take it out of the system, and if one can't figure it out, then IMO one shouldn't have it disconnected. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
