I am interested in adding the automotive style cruise to my 4720. How hard is it and how much does it cost?

Thanks,
D.

For that price, I am in for sure. Did you install it yourself?

I am hearing that all the wiring is already there and all it needs is some buttons - is that right? I have a call into my dealer about it.

Any idea of what is takes to install it? My dealer does not know anything about it. They are calling about it.

Thanks,
D.

1. remove console (a few screws underneath)

2. cut out hole (using molded in guide)

3. insert switch into hole, connecting it to wiring harness.

4. reinstall console.

5. contemplate the term 'value added' as you consider the price for the new feature vs. the materials and labor involved in acquiring it.

Not sure I get #5 - are you saying it is a waste? Seems stupis that $80 for a couple switches, surely there is more to the kit...

They are very good switches. What you are paying for is the feature. That is value added. I don't think they expect most folks will ever know that it just takes some switches with little pigtails to get the feature. I don't regret getting mine.

Mike,

What did you use to cut the hole with? I can't cut a straight line to save my life

Noticed the the 3320 seems to have spacers that pop out - sure it needs to be cut RRF?
