Can you determine the model year from the serial #
Is there a way to determine the "official" model year from the serial numbers of a 790 and a 300 FEL? None of the owners manuals or the JD financing contract mention a year. The finance contract merely says new. LV0790G894262 & WOO300X006999

Thanks for the info. That means they are both brand new production 2005 models. Where did you get the answer? Are you a dealer?
