Does the bucket on the 200cx detach from the frame, to allow other implements to be used in its' place, ie;pallet forks?

Thanks, the closer I get to putting my money down, the more questions I seem to have.

How much can you lift with these forks with the 200cx loader? I looked at JD set up but was concerned about the weight of the forks and what would be left to lift a load? What tractor do you have these on?

JD says approx 800+/- on a 2520 w/fel. Are the pallet forks an even weight exchange for the bucket?

I don't know how much it will lift, but I think the pallet forks are about 250 lbs. compared to the J.D. ones which I think are more like 400.
If you use a lot of ballast, my 2305 will lift quite a bit. I move my dumpster around when it is empty or has lightweight stuff like hay in it. Pallets with 10 bales of hay, stacks of rubber horse mats, landscaping material...they're pretty handy.
I will TRY to attach a couple of pictures.

Do you think that you could lift a reasonable load (palleted) from the back of a semi, or straight job? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Well, this is just an opinion, but I would be much more carefull if I were trying to lift near the maximum weight with the forks up very high in the air. If you lift too much close to the ground the tractor will "tell" you and if you keep your hand on the control, you can react quickly.
I probably wouldn't try to lift more then 400 or 500 lbs. off of a truck even with a lot of ballast.
