Go to http://www.geocities.com/agmachinery/jdat.htm to see this prototype from JD. It is an interesting machine and would be great if they produced it. It is based on a 80 hp (59 kW) 5510 tractor is the four wheel steered and suspended tractor. The front axle is like the TLS-suspension, the rear axle is like the new ILS on the 8020-tractors.

I went to a JD open house this spring, and saw a video with the bottom "driverless tractor" driving around remotely, using GPS... and it was the nuts... Showed it driving up to a gate in the fence, turned and drove between a barn and outbuilding... all without an operator and only using GPS... /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif
Today's technology is remarkable for Ag!.../w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Yep I saw the same thing John. Did you see the demo where they actually had the tractor going only from GPS doing the planting and spraying?
Robert, here's the Nebraska Tractor Test for your NH TN65. I converted it from PDF to jpg {page 1 of 3 only}... when Muhammad gets the PDF attachment working, I'll try it that way...

I actually got to see it in action live this summer John. The dealers have customer appreciation days and they feed you and show you all the new gadgets for the year. They have a test plot of ground where they show all of this and they showed the discing and planting all by GPS. It was really neat to watch.
