Here a some more pictures. As for the build, I had the bucket side plates cut on a friend's cnc plasma table. The rest of the project was done in my garage, using a mig welder, a bridgeport style mill and a metal cutting chopsaw. All the dimensions were taken from a BX 24. I spent just under $2000 on the project.

That had to be fun to build, How long did it take to build roughly? Do you have a guess at the weight add is to your unit?

Great Job

I guesstimate the backhoe weighs about 500 lbs. As for hydraulics I tapped into the test ports just like woods did for the 6000 hoe. They show exactly how to do this in the installation manual for their hoe subframe which I got off their site. They even mention the size of the metric fittings they use. I started to build it last july and likely averaged 4 hours a week so I'll guess about 100 hours time to build. All pins use DOM tubing just like a factory built model and every pin has a grease fitting.

Doesn't look home made at all, that's some incredible work, what size MiG do you have to weld that heavy plate? I'm pretty sure my 135 couldn't handle it.
