Greetings:
4520 with power reverser gave strange (to me) behavior last night. While loading dirt, I forgot to downshift prior to hitting pile. B range, 4th gear. Well, the wheels stopped spinning, the engine lugged down, and I didn't have the clutch in. With a normal manual transmission in the PU I would think the clutch is out of adjustment / slipping / wornout. The 4520 has 190 hrs on it, I don't ride the clutch, so I doubt I've worn it out. I don't know enough about the action on the electronic/ hydro clutch this beast has to know if it should have stalled out, or is it behaving normal. Down shifting started the wheels spinning (see thread about M.U.D. and R4 tires).

Anybody have experience I can learn from?

I have a 4610 with the p/r trans. and it will kill the engine for sure with no slipping if trying to dig into a pile of stone in to high of a gear. I think I would ask the dealer if there is some adjustment for it.

Good luck PeterT
