Default Hub Spacers?

I have been told that there are hub spacers that I can get for my 4310, to widen the stance of the rear wheels? Does anyone out there have any idea who I would contact about purchasingg hub spacers? I am thinking 4 to 6 inches each side. i have some slopes in my yard and I don't wanna end up turned over, so I figure that I can reduce my chances by having the wider stance.

Unverferth makes spacers for large ag applications. They might be able to supply them. Unverferth Agricultural Wheel Systems - Wheel Extensions

You'll probably have to have these made at a machine shop. You'll also need longer studs to mount the spaced out wheel rims.

I believe your manual suggests swapping the tires side to side to increase the track (distance between the wheels). Have you investigated this yet? I swapped my front wheels side to side to increase the track for loader operations and side slope stability. It did help...I gained 4-6" total increase (eyeball job, not measured).
Personally, I'm a believer in filling the rear tires to aid in stability. The liquid gets the weight as low as possible. This increases the resistance to the tractor to roll to the side.
I know this was the topic of a recent thread comparing fluid filled tires to wheel weights. I believe you were a poster in that thread, Nuru...

Anyway, I'd swap those rear tires around before adding spacers.

Hello Roy, yes i am considering getting the tires filled however, they were okay with my 4100, but I dunno with the increase weight, those slopes and my fledgling lawn - I am a bit worried about slipping and damage to the lawn. I have the weight box for the 3PT hitch. But you know, having the tractor fall over is more of a concern!. I m,ight end up with hub spacers, the tires set at the widest seetings, and filled rears. I spoke with my local dealer and the individual who will be working on my tractor this week is gonna check the width of the tires on the wide setting. He indicated that he seemed to remember the difference on the 4310 was not significant, so he was gonna measure and call me.

Nuru,
I am awaiting a set of custom wheel spacers as we speak,
from Fred at "wheeladapter.com"..
We are getting them in for the front of a 3320 that has
an off spec tire that is interfering with the steering cylinder.
(gaining 1" each side vs. putting the wheels in the wide
position)
Also, I believe he is sending me a set for the rear tires,
of which I have had several requests for, so that tire
chains can fit on the R-4 tire.
I will post pictures and let you know how they work
once we recieve them.

Cool, I will like to see those pics! I just got a quote from my dealer for the Unverferth wheel hub extenders. They provide 6 inches of extension to each hub. They price was $325 each with all hardware included. I thought that price was a bit over the top/ Might i ask what does yours cost?

Dutch445, is the avoiding the flipping the tires over to the wide settings and using the spaces to not stress the front end?

A total of 8 inches added with the extensions. It made a huge difference in the stability of my 3520, especially on side hills.

They are very well made and precision cut mounting holes and threads. They are NOT CHEAP! $$$.$$

If you have anymore questions feel free to ask.

Sincerely,
Dirt
