The V-4 Starting Engine on my "70" Diesel has been
completely rebuilt but seems to lack the power
needed to crank the tractor engine over properly. The
V-4 runs fine, a lot better now than it did before, but
under load it looses power. I hate to have to tear into
things after spending a lot of time and money on this
tractor, so was hoping you might be able to offer some
suggestions that would lead directly to a solution.

Check the clips used to position the ignition wires as
they go from the distributor to the spark plugs. If they are
pinching the wires too hard, a ground could be created that
only shows up under load. It's not an uncommon problem.
