Tag on radiator says Model AD-3542-022. Johnny Popper that I know but what year.
Also know it's a garden tractor now a full size, and I think the only implement it came with
from factory was a harrow. Not sure. More info would be appreciated, or a good link as to where
someone could help figure it out. Sorry but no pictures as of yet. Possibly tomorrow. Wanting to sell
but do not know the worth of the ole girl. No rust at all but when pop got it he put on a hydraulic
pump and a belly mower. Need help as to where to start to find out more information. Thanks.:)

Look for a serial number on the mainframe (right front or rear housing is a good starting place). A picture would prob make short work of your inquiry. Most of these guys can tell you what you need by just glancing at a picture.

The number you have isn't a JD part number as this shows up on JDparts.com.
The part number AD-3542-022 was not found.

As stated a photo is worth a 1000 words. How many cylinders does engine have?? Gasoline or diesel fuel?

As stated yesterday, here are a few photos of the Johnny Popper. Found more
numbers this morning. On transmission housing left side C or G 11-15-2, on top of
cylinder head is L42347 and on rear right side of rear housing is AL-2092D. :confused2:

Looks like you have a L-Model. I don't know a whole lot about them, but I believe they are kind of rare and desirable.

I would check with the JD boys at Johnnypopper.com

They will probably know a lot more about them and help you quicker than we could here.

You should also be able to find some more specs listed on the L-Model over there.

Keep us posted.

Told ya these guys are good. Even a dirt farmer like me knew what that was by looking at it. What do ya want for it and what part of the country you located?

I can't tell from photos but besides a model "L" it could be a "LA". If SN tag is still present it will be on the rear axle trumpet.

Well, Mom passed and don't really have use for nor have room or facilities to rebuild so
I guess that leaves with 1 option, sell it. What is it worth, from one site from 500 to 3500
bucks, but still don't know. I'm located on West Coast of Calif. place called Fort Bragg (no military here)
It is inside now, it was under cover (shed roof) for years. Has hand crank start and some mods that my dad did
( bolt on hydraulic pump and remote as you can see from photos). Any reasonable offer will not be refused as I
trucked it down from Washington state (1000 miles). I have a 2010 Kubota B3200 and don't really need this.
Need the money for mom's bills from estate. Thanks
