I forgot to mention, the owner said the 60 has the wrong flywheel on it. The guy who was working on it said it ran good but had a bad vibration due to the the wrong flywheel.

The bigger the twins get the closer you need to examine the crankshaft when it comes to the flywheel end.Make sure the spline is in good shape the experts might chime in with the answers we all need.One thing I have heard especially with this 70 is make sure the flywheel bolts are tight and the wheel is seated against the crankshaft.

70 diesels were especially noted for loose flywheel problems! I had one in the 60's, finally traded it for a 720D as even a new flywheel wouldn't hold. ~~ grnspot
