Default Surprised to see oil around distributor

I have a 720 LP in very good condition. I started it up the other day and ran it for a few minutes and shut it off. Two days later I noticed alot of oil up and around the distributor.I pretty sure it to be moter oil. It has never done this before. Anyone got any ideas?

Im thinking Chevy here but oil could be dripping from the valve cover or intake above the distributor or if the distributor is gear driven it uses engine oil as lubrication and oil could be traveling up the shaft and leaking at the block.
