Hi,

As you will read below, I have two issues with my JD 2120:
1. My left brake pedal operated does nothing in terms of tractor braking, but the right pedal brake works - what could be the malfunction cause for the left brake?
2. Second issue in fact is connected with the first issue, because when both brake pedals are connected I have no brake. My question is why the left pedal coupled with the right pedal influences the malfunction of the tractor brakes? because as I said above the right pedal works when is independently operated.

Thanks for help!

When both brake pedal are actuated simultaneously this causes the equalizer valve to let oil escape to the obviously leaking LH brake piston seals. I hope your tractors leaking rear axle seal is on LH side.

Yes, the leak is on real LH side. In this case is the valve which has to be replaced no?
But shouldn't the right brake still work when are actuated simultaneously?

NO because the equalizing valve lets oil bypass from RH side of brake valve to LH side
