It took almost a gallon of 80w gear oil. Oil in the right side is good quality. I appreciate all the help.

I will check mine too! Thanks also for the follow up on what happened. I looked in my manual and it says nothing about separate reservoirs....

That's because the tractors you have listed in your profile don't have separate oil reservoirs

I have changed the oil twice in it and there is still water in the hydraulic oil - do you have a suggestion on how to flush the hydraulic system?
