I have a 1960's JD3020 diesel. The manual says its a closed center hydraulic system with a maximum pressure of 2250 PSI. Anyone know how many gallons per minute of hydraulic that these tractors put out?
Never Mind. I found a post here that said, "The 2 wheel drive version total flow rate is 18GPM. The 4WD version total flow rate is 23GPM. They don't break it down by outlet."
Tractordata.com shows this but I know the capacity and pressure listed is incorrect and I think pump flow will be closer to 13 GPM. I'm a former JD dealer service manager(mid 60's-mid 80's)
Hydraulics:
Type: closed center
Capacity: 4.5 gal [17.0 L]
Pressure: 2100 psi [144.8 bar]
Valves: 1
Total flow: 18 gpm [68.1 lpm]
