GM Calender Febuary , 430 paint job

Good looking 430 but who ever was spraying the paint did not know or did not care that the spin out rims are supposed to be silver colour.

I've had a quick look at photos at tractordata.com and GIS. Yes, a minority of spin out rims are silver. The majority are standard JD yellow, even taking into account the different wheel/rim configurations.

Looks like a 'six of one, half dozen of the other' situation.

From the factory all Deere spin outs were grey/silver. There is no debating the point. The yellow spin outs and yellow axles are from painters gone wild with a spray gun.

Why would there be a 430 on a GM calendar? Unless GM stands for something else?????

Googling GM calender February picture turns up nothing?

Alrighty then. No debate. Case closed. Quite a few people who have restored JD tractors with Spin-out rims have gone wild with their spray painting guns. End of story.
