I am having problems with my sediment bulb leaking and haven't been able to get it to stop. Any one know if there is a replacement for the sediment bulb. I was thinking about an in line fuel filter as a replacement.
Isn't there a cork washer that seals to prevent leakage? Seems I remember getting good results when I replace it, as the old one was a bit brittle and hard.
The glass bowl itself should be okay.

If not a cork washer.. then a neophrene gasket.. either should work. An in-line fuel filter is not the same beast as a sediment bowl/water seperator..e tc.
I checked the cork and it seemed to be soft enough. The cork was the first avenue that I was going to take but the inline filter came to mind. After thinking about over night it dawned on me that a fuel system that has a filter in it probably has pressure in it, where my tractor probably works on a vacuum. Thanks guys, I am going to hit the Napa parts store today for a gasket.
