Default Got my CK20S HST!!

Rick Wallace showed up a couple hours ago and dropped off my new tractor. It's my 1st tractor so I've got a lot of learnin to do.

Once I find my digital camera, I'll take some pics to post, especially of his QA since it seems no one else has one of his.

Now I just gotta wait for work to be over so I can go pick me up some diesel fuel to run the booger around, but I might have to take a nap 1st. I've been excited waiting for it to arrive, I haven't been able to sleep since Sunday. Now that it's here, I'm pooped!

I know the feeling, and what a great feeling it is. Had my 20 for a little over 3 months. Probably more tractor than you will ever need. Good luck and have fun. By the way, tell Rick it should have been full when dropped off.

Here's a picture of my new CK20 (s) HST. Well it's pretty new (42 hours and took delivery early Feb.) and snow blowing all this last Winiter's snow kept the bright orange paint polished right up. In the picture I've just completed taking off the rear snowblower and it's headed for it's Summer storage in my spare garage. The backhoe was just plugged in and pinned in place. I'm just about to go throw some snow around with the backhoe. Still have plenty of snow as you can see so I'm hoping we don't get any more surprizes from Mother Nature.

Wish you the best with that little giant new CK20 and congrats.

I know you will love the tractor I love mine and all I have been able to do is play around on it in the garage due to the weather.

Congratulations and good luck, glad to hear you purchased from Rick, a class act. I've been very very pleased with my Kioti, they are nice, strong machines. You'll wonder how you lived without one for as long as you have.
Enjoy and be safe.

Thanks all!! I just got back from getting fuel for it, but it's been raining. Since I was out, I also decided to pick up some wisher fluid to load the rear tires.

Glad I made the decision tonight because the 1st Walmart, I stopped at, only has summer formula. The 2nd one did had it, and it cost me $72 for 32 gallons! Last year I was paying $1 to $1.15 a gallon.

I stopped in at Tractor supply and a few other places and it reinforced my decision to do it now. Winter formula at TS was $2.70 a gallon and the other places were around $3.50 a gallon.

My understanding is that Methanol prices are sky high because of it being used for Bio-Diesel processing. So if you're planning on loading your tires with washer fluid, make sure you get your fluid NOW! Because you'll have a hard time, in the summer, finding the winter formula and I don't see prices for Methanol dropping anytime soon.

First, contratulations on your new tractor.

Second, I have just priced bulk methanol. $3.74/gallon in 55gallon drum. I forget the exact formula but figure about a 30% solution by weight necessary for -20 to -30 antifreeze as I recall. That means you can get approximately 120 -130 gallons of mix for a bit over $200 if you mix it yourself. You wouldn't need that much for a CK20 but that just happens to be about right for a DK40se front and rear to 75%.

Welcome to the Pack!

The CK20 is a great tractor and you will be amazed at what it can do. Looking forward to some pics.

I got to sit on it for about 10 mins today; had to move it around back. And all I can say is that it was a pain to run.

I say this because I wanted to use the foot pedal to fun the FEL and the joystick to move the tractor. I guess, I've got skid steer on my mind.

Again tomorrow, I gotta run to DC, so no seat time again! When will this madness end, so I can get some seat time on my new toy???
