I own one with the TLB package, I am very pleased, It's a very strong machine. I'm partial to gear as rebuilding a hydro frightens me. I've been very happy with my machine, has done all I've asked and support and parts are easy to come by.
You may want to call Rick Wallace with your serial number and see what he can tell you about the machine. Good luck, Joel

IMO, $19,500 for this package without the trailer is pretty high. No way he'd be able to clear 23 or 24K by selling the individual components. Tractor/FEL/BH would sell for less than a CK30 TLB used and probably about the same as a CK20 TLB. I'd guess 13-14K, maybe 15 if he's lucky. The LK3054 is an excellent TLB but not one in high demand like a Kubota BX24 or a newer HST based Kubota, JD or Kioti TLB. As noted in an earlier post, the implements if in decent shape but not high end versions would be worth a total of about $3000-4000 used (I have trouble believing that anyone would buy a heavy duty name brand bush hog with this package for example so am assuming mid level or value brand implements and assigning values like you'd see on craigslist not on a dealers lot). Used rakes, box blades, bush hogs, and back blades simply don't sell for much more than $500 -600 a piece used in the 5ft size that would be expected with a less than 30hp tractor. Subsoilers are cheap. Implements in good shape usually sell on craigslist for about 50-60% of what you'd pay new. To me that makes the TLB plus decent implements worth a total of $16,500 (bargain) to about $18,000 (fair) when sold individually. Caveat: a hydraulic feed wood chipper could be worth more than the $1500 I estimated depending brand and condition. If it is a Chinese brand then that is probably more than what he'd get. If it is a premium Scandinavian chipper then he might get double. It still doesn't exceed even $20,000 total when separated. |

Sounds high, search around, I've seen the TLB available, with very low hours (1-30), with the full four year warranty remaining for under $20K. Other posts are accurate when they say this machine is not under super high demand. But to be clear, this is not comparable to a BX24 with regards to capacities. Loader is about 3X as strong, Hoe is 1.5 foot larger with significantly more capacity and the BX24 is about 1/3 as heavy. Actually more comparable to the B21, which is in high demand. I compared to B21 when I purchased my LK3054XS TLB, I paid at least $5K less for comparable B21 and for my use, my machine does all a B21 would do for me. PS Currently own a Kubota, nice machines.
I would not pay premium price for a machine like this as they can be had for less. Would definately buy again though, stought machine. Good luck, Joel

Completely agree. I didn't mean the comparison to be on performance but rather on resale value. No doubt the BX23/24 hold their value better than just about anything but the LK3054 is certainly a notch or two above in terms of cabability as a TLB. |
