For those of you who read my "Kioti buyers, thanks... I think" thread. Y'all have put my concerns at ease and I'm now looking forward to delivery of a CK-35 shuttle, R-4 tires, KL130 loader, & rear work light beginning of next week.
I'm dealing with Eton Tractor & Equipment in Chatsworth GA about 50 miles from my place. They've been great to deal with so far. I went up there and spent a few hours driving, looking at, & playing with the Kioti's yesterday. He had 3 CK-35's. I was impressed. Quite running, smooth shifting, & stout feeling. Loader worked like a charm. I liked the shuttle shift better than the HST. Called back this morning and told them I'd take one. He said "Glad you called, 'cause there's only 1 left!". Evidently the Free FEL promotion is workin' pretty good. Delivering it early next week. I'll take some pics when it arrives. Compared it to a New Holland TC-35A, a Mahindra 3215, & JD 3320. Never did make it to a Kubota dealer, but talked to a couple on the phone. None of these was even close to the value of the Kioti. They're nice tractors, no doubt about it, but IMO no nicer than the CK-35 overall and the closest I could get on price was the Mahindra which was + $4300 over the Kioti. JD & NH were just stupid expensive in comparison + $6000 on the NH, and green paint must be even more expensive than blue .Anyways, I'll use it around the house here a little bit then move it to the farm in KY where it will reside permenately. Dave,
Welcome to the Pack, enjoy and be safe. My CK30 was over $9K less than a similarly equipped JD2520, and the JD dealer acted like he was giving me a GREAT deal and how could I possibly consider anything else.

Hey! Congratulations on your purchase.
The free FEL has got to be at least equal to a 15% - 20% discount, before you even walk in the door. Sounds like you got a smoking deal if that far below some of the other comparables.

Congratulations and be safe. That loader deal is awesome. The 35 w/ SS is going to be a beast! The 30 w/ HST has plenty of power so you're going to be sitting pretty (no pun intended).
Enjoy!

Congrats and good luck, with the warranty you'll be trouble free for a long time.
I also went with shuttle, as I've stated elsewhere, the thought of a HST going wrong frightens me as I had to rebuild the hydraulic reverser on my dozer. Swapping out clutch plates seems a whole lot easier. Happy and safe motoring. Joel

Congrats and I'm glad you took a 2nd look at the Oit.
On a side note, I'm thinking about trading my Toyota in for a Hyundai. The Camry was the 1st foreign, if you can call it that since it was built in KY, vehicle I've every purchased and I got burned. At the time, I didn't even want to look at Hyundai because I remember their 1st vehicle, the Excel and Toyota had been known and quality for years. Well, I saw a commercial for the new '09 Sonata and I'm thinking real hard... In fact, if I'm near a Hyundai dealer tomorrow, I'm going to take one for a test drive. Screw Toyota, at least on their 1st year models. |

Congrats Dave. That CK35 should serve you very well. 35 HP in that size frame is an awesome setup!
Now if Kioti would just help the poor guy who is trying to sell his CK with the old style KL130. |
